On June 28th the 2002 Rock Werchter festival began. Over three days 51 artists played to 75,000 + fans. A few of the main acts at the 2002 festival included The Chemical Brothers, Nelly Furtado, Bush, Coldplay,Red Hot Chili Peppers, The White Stripes and Sonic Youth.
EML Productions has provided sound re-enforcement and lighting for the event since 1989. For the past two years EML has flown 48 x Q-FACTOR 218with 12 x Q-FACTOR Q10  as a down fill on the main stage, and 16 x Q-FACTOR Q18 sub on the Pyramid Stage.
