LIVESOUND SWITZERLAND JOINS THE Q-FACTOR FAMILY

Swiss based rental company, LIVESOUND B AG, has become a Q-factor European rental pool partner with the purchase of 24 x 18B, 16 x 210, 8 x 15B and a planned November delivery of 12 units of the Q-factor 215 subwoofer. Livesound, founded in 1976 by Werner Christen and Thomas Gfeller, has grown to become one of the most important production companies in the European, and Swiss, pro audio industry.

“We knew that investing in a large line array system was a very important step for us”, says Thomas Gfeller. “Therefore we investigated intensely, for more than 18 months, before we made our decision. We evaluated most of the famous systems available and came to the conclusion that the Q-factor US edition system is the perfect tool for us. Not only is it well accepted by sound engineers, but we discovered very early that the people at DV2 (Q-factor European Headquarters) know truly what they are talking about. We are not only impressed by the outstanding performance and technology of the Y-Axis system, but we are also satisfied by the support of the DV2 and Q-factor crew. This season we did several large festivals in Switzerland (Open Air Gampel, Gurtenfestival, etc.) with our new system. Thanks to the Y-Axis and SpekTrix systems the response was 100% positive!” adds Thomas Gfeller.

“It was a pleasure to recognize the absolute professional way the Livesound crew works”, says Guy Vignet, Managing Director of DV2. “One can see that things get done at Livesound on the background of more than 20 years of experience in our industry.” Vignet continues: “We look forward to collaborating in the future and we are proud to have Livesound on board as a new member of the Q-factor family!”
